The University of Minnesota Morris Summer Term provides a broad selection of summer courses for degree- and nondegree-seeking students. Registration opens Wednesday, March 27.

A fully accredited institution in west central Minnesota, UMN Morris makes it easy for community members and students from UMN Morris and other colleges to enroll in undergraduate courses.

Summer courses offer the same academic rigor and faculty dedication as classes taught during fall and spring semesters, but in a condensed format.

May Session (May 20–June 7) will offer courses in studio art; biology; chemistry; communication, media, and rhetoric; and Native American and indigenous studies.

Summer Sessions I (May 28–June 28) and II (July 1–August 2) will offer courses in art history; biology; chemistry; communications, media, and rhetoric; computer science; economics; history; music; philosophy; political science; psychology; sport studies and athletics; and statistics.

Summer Session I through II (May 28 - August 2) will include courses on calculus, health sciences terminology, and Scandinavian mythology.

Summer Term provides many advantages to students wanting to continue their educations past the spring semester. It provides the opportunity to expedite a degree, make up missing courses, meet general education requirements, and work while earning credits. Students enrolled in summer courses receive first-priority placement for on-campus housing and have access to campus dining options as well as health services through Stevens Community Medical Center.
